Work with Persian text properly

A collection of utilities for Persian text: convert numerals, fix characters that came from Arabic keyboards, clean up spacing and half-spaces, and prepare text for the web.

  1. Paste your Persian text into the input.
  2. Choose the operation you need — numeral conversion, character correction, or spacing cleanup.
  3. Review the result; corrections are shown so you can verify them.
  4. Copy the cleaned text back to your document.

Tip: The ی/ي and ک/ك corrections matter for search: mixed Arabic and Persian forms make identical words look different to software.

Convert between Tajik Cyrillic and Persian script

Transliterate Tajik text written in Cyrillic into Persian-Arabic script and back — bridging the two writing systems of the same language.

  1. Paste text in either Tajik Cyrillic or Persian script.
  2. Choose the conversion direction.
  3. Review the output — ambiguous mappings are handled by context, but names may need a manual touch.
  4. Copy the converted text.

Tip: Persian script omits short vowels that Cyrillic writes out, so Persian→Tajik benefits from a proofread by a Tajik speaker.

Inspect invisible and bidirectional characters

See every character in a text — including invisible marks, zero-width characters and right-to-left controls that cause mysterious layout and copy-paste bugs.

  1. Paste the problematic text.
  2. Read the character-by-character breakdown with code points and names.
  3. Spot invisible troublemakers: zero-width joiners, direction marks, non-breaking spaces.
  4. Clean the text or copy specific characters as needed.

Tip: When Persian or Arabic text 'jumps around' inside mixed-direction strings, a stray RLM or LRM mark is almost always the culprit — this tool makes them visible.
