Ad Maker

Design animated banner ads in every standard size. Animate text, logos and calls to action, then export an animated GIF or video — all on your device, with no account and no uploads.

0.0 / 5.0s 300 × 250
Export as GIF works in every ad network. Video is smaller for longer ads.

Standard display sizes follow the IAB catalogue. Most networks ask for GIFs under 150 KB and 15 seconds or less — the export tells you the finished size.

How to use: Build an animated banner ad

Ad Maker builds display ads and social promos in your browser: pick a standard size, add text, a logo and a call-to-action button, animate each piece independently, then export an animated GIF or video. Your images and fonts never leave your device.

  1. Pick your ad size from the standard list — Medium Rectangle, Leaderboard, Skyscraper, Mobile Banner and the rest — or type your own width and height.
  2. The left panel has two tabs: Ad size for the format, and Layers for everything in the ad. Add text for your headline and offer, a shape or button for the call to action, and an image for your logo or product. The selected layer is marked on the canvas with a dashed outline and corner handles, so you always know what you are editing.
  3. The layer list is stacked front to back, with the front-most item at the top. Use the ▲ and ▼ arrows on any row to move it forward or backward, or Bring to front and Send to back to jump it straight to either end — handy when a logo needs to sit above a photo.
  4. The inspector on the right has three tabs. Layer sets content, font, colour, size and position for whatever you have selected.
  5. Shapes can be a rectangle, circle, ellipse, triangle, diamond, star, line or arrow — and every layer type, including images and shapes, animates the same way.
  6. The Animation tab controls entrance and exit separately, and effects stack — tick Fade, Slide, Zoom, Spin, Flip, Blur, Wipe and Typewriter in any combination. Zoom plus Fade gives a classic pop; Slide plus Blur gives a motion-blurred entrance. Each side has its own timing, so a layer can zoom in and fade out. Leave the exit empty to keep a layer on screen, and add a looping effect like pulse or float to keep a button lively in between.
  7. The Background tab handles the backdrop on its own: a solid colour, a linear or radial gradient, one of eighteen repeating patterns, or your own photo — press Upload a background photo, or drop an image straight onto the ad. A photo can be zoomed, moved, rotated, flipped, and darkened or lightened so headline text stays readable.
  8. The background has its own stackable entrance and exit, exactly like a layer: combine Fade, Slide, Zoom, Blur and Wipe, each with its own timing. There is also an ambient effect — slow pan, slow zoom, gradient shift or brightness pulse — that runs for the whole ad.
  9. Thirty-nine fonts are included and served from this site, so nothing is requested from Google. Twelve of them cover Arabic and Persian script, with a right-to-left toggle for the text layer.
  10. Set the overall ad length and frame rate, scrub the timeline or press Play to check the timing, then export an animated GIF, a WebM video, or a still PNG. The selection outline never appears in the exported file.

Tip: Stagger your entrances — headline at 0s, offer at 0.6s, button at 1.2s — so the eye is led through the ad. Keep the final frame readable on its own, because that is what people see when a GIF stops looping.
